Meet a Member: Legal Services of North Dakota

Legal Services of North Dakota (LSND) strives to provide high-quality legal advice, representation and legal education to low income and elderly North Dakotans. LSND is a statewide nonprofit organization with offices in Bismarck, Fargo, Minot, New Town and Belcourt providing help in the areas of public benefits denial appeals, eviction, protection orders, advance directives, AIPRA wills, affidavit - probate collection, claims of exempt, consumer and family law, and much more. LSND operates a Senior Legal Helpline 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday where North Dakotans 60 and over can call in for help with legal questions. LSND operates periodic outreach to the following communities: Mandan, Dickinson, Jamestown, Wahpeton, Valley City, Spirit Lake, White Shield, Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Williston. LSND is also involved in Teen Drug Court, Community Colleges, Turtle Mountain Juvenile Court, serving as VITA income tax sites and a variety of other joint efforts with other nonprofits.
