Minot Area Council of the Arts. The mission of the Minot Area Council of the Arts (MACA) is to support and advance the full range of arts for all ages and abilities. The economic impact of the nonprofit arts industry in Minot is $9.9 million. (Americans for the Arts, Arts and Economic Prosperity Study 2010).

MACA enriches our community in many ways, including hosting 25 free outdoor summer concerts, an Integrity Jazz Festival and USO Salute Gala. Our organization also hosts the minot.culturepulse.org website and provides an "Artists in the Schools" arts education program that annually reaches 4,500 students. MACA has also been instrumental in Artspace of Minneapolis's latest project, which will bring retail space and 34 affordable housing units to Minot.
