Meet A Member: Williston State College Foundation

WSC Foundation
The Williston State College (WSC) Foundation partners with the college by building relationships with alumni, donors and surrounding communities; generating financial support; fun WSC dorm photo ding student scholarships and faculty development grants; and leading capital expansion to develop a thriving, state-of-the-art campus.

WSC Foundation impacts our community, region and state in several ways. The most prominent impact is through scholarships and grants to the college. Because of generous gifts and increasing oil royalties, we have been able to provide scholarships to North Dakota students, making college possible for many students. WSC Foundation has awarded over $1 million in recent years for area student scholarships.

The other significant impact the foundation has had is through support of public and private causes to advance the campus. The foundation has provided funding for WSC Front Drive, WSC
Foundation Apartments, WSC Dual Credit Scholarship, WSC Early Entry Scholarships, WSC Music Program, Teton Hockey Program, Teton Softball Program, WSC Frontier Hall Ready Room, WSC Campus Beautification, Williston Boys Baseball, Williston Parks and Rec, Williston Concert Association, 2014 Graduating Senior Scholarship for NW North Dakota Students, Department of Motor Vehicles, WSC Nursing Program, Shemorry Collection, WSC President's House, Williston CVB, All City Halloween Party and Williston State College Grants.
