 relationship between board and CEO in different life stages of nonprofits\
 ; and best practices for all nonprofit governing boards\, including a focu
 s on board recruitment\, training and retention.\n\n1-4 p.m. <u>'Bringing 
 Your Board to the Next Level'</u>\nThis half-day workshop will offer pract
 ical checklists to ensure maximum board participation\, as well as a succe
 ssful working relationship between board and CEO. The session will discuss
  how to focus on what’s important\, not just urgent\; review the types of 
 struggling boards\; and provide practical procedures to improve your board
 .\n\n<b>Presenter</b>\nA native of North Dakota\, Carter McNamara\, MBA\, 
 PhD\, of Authenticity Consulting\, is one of the nation's top experts abou
 t nonprofit boards. He is well-known for his highly practical tools for bo
