  Community Innovation grants in North Dakota. The Community Innovation gra
 nts support communities using problem-solving processes that lead to more 
 effective\, equitable and sustainable solutions. These grants are awarded 
 three times a year. The 2018 North Dakota application cycles are open Jan.
  2 – Feb. 5\, May 1 – June 4\, and Sept. 4 – Oct. 1.\n\nThe Bush Foundatio
 n continues to make significant investments in North Dakota through this e
 ffort. Since 2014\, the Foundation has invested over $1.4 million in 148 i
 nnovative community-based endeavors in North Dakota through the Consensus 
 Council. The Bush Foundation has also partnered with intermediary organiza
 tions in Minnesota and South Dakota to expand the Community Innovation Gra
