 fering a series of two webinars Sept. 5 and 12 in collaboration with NDANO
 . \n\nThe one-hour webinars are designed for attorneys and will focus on r

 boards)\, best practices\, federal and state tax issues\, advocacy\, gover
 ning documents\, open records/meeting issues\, charitable solicitations\, 
 and other issues unique to nonprofit corporations.\n\n<b>Registration for 
 NDANO Members: $25 per webinar</b>\n\n<b>Presenters:</b>\nMurray Sagsveen 
 has advised nonprofit governing boards and has served on nonprofit governi
 ng boards for over 30 years. Most recently\, he was the in-house general c
 ounsel of an international special medical association for ten years\; now
  serves on the governing boards of the North Dakota Association of Nonprof
 it Organizations (NDANO)\, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota\, and 
 Luther Seminary\; and is the general counsel for the Theodore Roosevelt Pr
 esidential Library Foundation and the Western North Dakota Synod of the Ev
 angelical Lutheran Church in America.\n\nAriana Meyers is from Winnipeg\, 
 Manitoba\, Canada. Ariana graduated from the University of Manitoba with a
  degree in Psychology and Family Social Sciences. She attended the Univers
 ity of North Dakota School of Law and graduated in May 2016. Ariana is an 
 Associate Attorney with Vogel Law Firm in Grand Forks. Ariana’s practice f
 ocuses primarily in the area of family and domestic relations\, as well as
  guardianships. In addition\, Ariana is an adjunct Moot Court coach at the
  University of North Dakota School of Law. In her spare time\, Ariana enjo
 ys walleye fishing at the Lake of the Woods and curling. \n\nNathan Svihov
 ec is originally from Watford City\, North Dakota.  Nathan completed his u
 ndergraduate degree from Dickinson State University\, obtaining a double m
 ajor in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.  He attende
 d the University of North Dakota School of Law and graduated in May 2016. 
  Nathan clerked for the South Central Judicial District for one year after
  law school.  Currently\, he is an Assistant Attorney General handling the
  employment law and prisoner litigation portfolios in the Civil Litigation
  Division of the Attorney General’s Office.  Nathan enjoys hunting\, spend
 ing time with his dogs\, and writing bios.\n\n
