 ne of the best resources you have are your staff and board. How do you ens
 ure that you are getting the most out of your constituency\, and ensuring 
 that they feel included and engaged? In this workshop\, Andrew McMasters\,
  founding artistic director of Jet City Improv\, leads participants throug
 h using the lessons of 'yes and' (accepting and building on offers) to bui
 ld inclusion\, drive engagement\, and create a personal connection with yo
 ur organization and its mission. You will learn how to use different style
 s of listening to build relationships with donors and staff\, as well as t
 he quick and easy methods for telling effective and memorable stories to d
 rive personal engagement.\n\n<b>Who Should Attend</b>\nThese skills build 
 individual styles of leadership and management\, and can be adapted for al
 l areas of work including volunteer management\, donor management\, staff\
 , board\, members and audiences.\n\n<b>Learning Outcomes</b>\n•	Using 'Yes\
 , and...' to build inclusion in your organization\n•	Driving engagement str
 ategies\n•	Tools for creating a personal connection with your organization 
 and its mission\n•	Exercises to share with your organization\n\n<b><i>All s
 essions will be recorded and the recording will be available to all regist

 bout The Presenter</b>\nAndrew McMasters is an actor\, director and entrep
 reneur with over 35 years of experience in the arts. He was the artistic d
 irector of Jet City Improv\, a non-profit theater company that he started 
 in 1992 and successfully managed for over 25 years. Andrew has also been w
 orking as a consultant for nearly 20 years\, providing training and custom
 ized programs for improving employee engagement\, driving innovation and i
 ncreasing team inclusion. Clients include Microsoft\, REI\, Amazon\, Googl
 e\, Nike\, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation\, Deloitte\, Hasbro and many ot
 hers. His 25 years as an arts administrator has informed his style of lead
 ership training\, using the skills from non-profit management in multiple 
 fields. He worked extensively for Microsoft\, Apple Computers\, Cisco and 
 Salesforce (as well as many others) creating customer engagement programs 
 and messaging for marketing events. Andrew also serves on two non-profit b
 oards\, including one Business Improvement Area (BIA) providing leadership
  and services for the University District community in Seattle.\n\nAndrew 
 is dedicated to experiential learning\, providing opportunities for self-d
 iscovery and driving innovation in our everyday lives.
