 g organization can be complicated. This workshop is designed to provide al
 l the information you need to start a successful nonprofit organization --
  beginning with an understanding of why you may or may not want to start a
  nonprofit organization and what other opportunities may be available to y
 ou.\n\nBy working closely with the easy-to-use Handbook for Starting a Suc
 cessful Nonprofit\, the session will lead participants through the step-by
 -step process for incorporating and applying for tax-exempt status. The Ha
 ndbook is included in the workshop fee and contains all the forms necessar
 y for starting a nonprofit.\n\nRegister early as the workshop has a limite
 d number of participants to make sure that there is plenty of time for que
 stions and answers about each potential organization’s specific needs. Ple
 ase note that this session does not include legal advice and is recommende
 d for those who have not yet filed Form 1023 (the Application for Recognit
 ion of Exemption).\n\nThe workshop price includes the Handbook for Startin
 g a Successful Nonprofit. If you already own the Handbook\, registration f
 or the workshop alone is $64. Please note that if you have the book alread
 y you must register with the downloadable registration form by mail or fax

 ted in Adobe Connect. You will need a computer with a reliable high-speed 
 internet connection to view the training. (While Adobe Connect does have a
  mobile app\, its functionality is limited and does not support all the en
 gagement tools that MCN uses during virtual trainings. Therefore\, they do
  not recommend using a smartphone or tablet to view the training.)\n\nYou 
 will also need a phone as you will be interacting with the trainer and oth
 er participants via voice\; you can’t use computer speakers/microphone to 
 participate in this training.\n\nInformation about how to log into this tr
 aining will be emailed to you prior to the start of the training.\n\n<b>FA
