\nIt’s easy to find yourself paralyzed by the complexities and minutia
e of complicated planned giving vehicles – and to become convinced that pl
anned giving is way beyond your reach. But really\, it’s not.\n\nThis two-
part virtual workshop helps even the smallest shops focus on ways to effec
tively and efficiently “get in the game” with planned giving. We will avoi
d the arcane detail of the more complex planned gifts and will instead foc
us on basic action steps for developing a planned giving strategy that wor
ks for your organization. We’ll help participants develop an appreciation
for the fundamental difference between a donor’s income and assets\, and h
ow to focus on the most likely and simpler planned gifts that will convert
those assets into gifts for your organization. We’ll also discuss how to
make your organization “a planned giving kind of place.”\n\nParticipants w
ill develop an understanding of the financial and psychological motivation
s for donors\, and how – even if you are a small nonprofit – you can creat
e and develop a successful and impactful planned giving program that can c
omplement and enhance your annual fundraising efforts.\n\n\nOTHER NOTES
: Both sessions will be recorded and will made available to all regist
ered participants for 30 days after the event. Participants who are unable
to attend will have access to all materials.\n\nSpeakerr: Al Canto
