on\nJackson has been working with or for nonprofit organizations in Minnes
ota for more than a decade in various roles including as executive directo
r of the Minnesota News Council and program director for the Minnesota New
spaper Association. Knowledge of nonprofit finance once eluded her\, but n
ow she loves helping nonprofit leaders decipher and understand the often e
xclusionary language of finance. As a lender\, trainer and partner\, Jacks
on works closely with nonprofits in the upper Midwest supporting their imp
ortant mission-driven work. She earned degrees in Journalism and Philosoph
y from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She love books\, newspap
ers\, travel\, cooking\, sports\, and Lake Superior.\n\nMary Ann Ehlshlage
r\nEhlshlager's decades of experience in nonprofit leadership have shown h
er that excellence in financial management is critical not just to the ste
wardship of balance sheets\, but to empowering nonprofits to achieve the g
reatest mission impact. Collaborative by nature\, she enjoys de-mystifying
financial leadership for volunteers and staff throughout an organization.
Ehlshlager is originally from Virginia but her work as an executive direc
tor in nonprofit theatres has allowed her to serve the nonprofit sectors i
n New York\, Delaware\, and Washington. Ehlshlager is thrilled to be back
in Minnesota where\, earlier in her career\, she served as the Project Man
ager for the new Guthrie Theatre. Her hobbies include public history\, rep
arative genealogy\, and riding her motorcycle.
