 tal grantwriter” and do not feel fully equipped for the challenge. This se
 ssion will provide a balance of applicable content and resources to deepen
  participants’ knowledge of and skills in grantwriting.\n\nSpecifically de
 signed for beginners\, this workshop will introduce grantwriting to nonpro
 fit professionals who have less than one year of experience with the skill
 . By the end of this session\, participants will learn the steps to craft\
 , construct\, and submit an effective grant application\, including:\n\n- 
 Understanding the various elements of a standard grant proposal applicatio
 n\n- Managing the grant timelines so that high-quality and complete propos
 als are submitted on time\n- Finding data sources to support proposal narr
 atives\n- Creating effective presentations of grant-narrative elements and
  ideas among or within proposal components\n- Identify which proposal-writ
 ing approaches\, styles\, tones\, and formats will work best.\n- Using app
 ropriate and accurate visuals to highlight information\n- Identify effecti
 ve practices for developing realistic\, accurate line-item and narrative b
 udgets that describe the relationship between line-items and project activ
 ities\n    Selecting evaluation models and methods for the grant applicati
 ons\n\nWorkshop participants will receive a digital copy of the Handbook f
 or Successful Grant Writing that covers topics ranging from research and p
 lanning to a glossary of commonly used terms. The Handbook is only availab
 le to participants and is not otherwise for sale.\n\nThis session focuses 
 on the grantwriting process. The second session in this series is Beginnin
 g Grantseeking\, which centers around the nonprofit funding landscape and 
 the process of seeking grants. There is also an Intermediate Grantwriting
