Descriptions
For the next year or so, all fundraising will take place during the ever-shifting sands of a pandemic. Fall fundraising will happen in the positive shadow of an uprising against racism and white supremacy. Our year-end campaigns will be conducted right after a bruising election. This is a lot of uncertainty! In this workshop, Kim Klein will discuss what the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits know about fundraising in crisis and help you think through your own fundraising plan from now until the end of the year. In this practical, hands-on workshop you will find out what organizations are doing with special events, major gifts solicitations, donor acquisition, and retention. What has changed? What is the same? Where do you pivot?

In this workshop, you will have a chance to share your experience, learn from your peers, and get guidance from someone who has fundraised through many crises. For best results, bring two to three people from your organization, including board members and volunteers.
