Meet a Member: Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation

Help and healing are close to home for cancer patients seeking state-of-the-art
radiation therapy treatments. Since 1999, the Bismarck Cancer Center (BCC) has been
providing patients with exceptional cancer treatment and caring support.
The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation, established in 2007, is committed to providing
hope and healing for those patients receiving treatment at the Center. The Foundation
raises funds through business and private donations, fundraisers and local and national
grants. Funds are used to provide comprehensive care for the body, mind and spirit
of patients and their families. There's so much more to treating cancer than just
treating the disease. With that philosophy in mind, the Bismarck Cancer Center
Foundation provides an amazing array of services to help patients during their cancer
journeys. Services include: transportation assistance, lodging assistance, support
groups, emotional and spiritual counseling, nutritional counseling, massage therapy,
physical therapy and survivorship care plans.

BCC is a collaborative, non-profit community service offered by Sanford Health
and CHI St. Alexius Health. The Center services a 250-mile radius with
a full range of radiation treatment options. Comprehensive cancer care dramatically
expanded in the region with the full range of support services offered through the
Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. BCC and the Foundation will continue their commitment
to offer patients state-of-the-art technology and compassionate care.
